Safelite Auto glass rant

Anyone ever have an issue with Safelite ?

We called the insurance and they sent out a guy from safelite, The guy drove up and down the street twice, I finally go out side near the street and flag him down, He pulls in tale my vin down and then proceeds to tell me that they ordered the wrong fing glass!.... He gives me bisness card to call them up to make another appointment. Meanwhile I've got an infant that I had to drag out to meet this guy(my parents house) and my G/F had to get out of work to go to east hampton to pickup her daught at school.

best ever glass company to deal with. its a local business (they will go to you for fix it). he used to work for payless auto glass and opened his own company in 2010. all the dealerships/repair shops in this area use him as we have never had a faulty install, leaking etc. he has over 10years professional experience

I personally had a great experience with them replacing my windshield. The guy was super nice and even repaired my rear seal that had begun to peal away from the glass without me even asking. The windshield has been in for 2 years and no leaks or any issues to speak of.

I had an AWESOME experience with them, they kept rescheduling my windshield replacement but it was because of torrential downpour all week, he came did it in less than an hour while i was in class, even put on all my stickers from my last windshield INCLUDING my 2 year expired inspection sticker hhaha guy called me asked how it was even, like confirming that he did an awesome job...which he did. no issues. guess it depends on the guy you get ive also heard bad shit about them

A different guy showed up and complete the job and did it well at that!, oh and upon talking with him for a few he had told me about the various people working there that shouldn't be.

Great expirences multiple times with them. God help me though that they dont cover my rear window if it ever breaks.
