keep your eyes peeled on craigslist for an old 20" bike and search the dumps for some plastic wheels, you really could build one of these for the cost of beer for me to cut and weld it up then we go ride

the front forks/tire/stem/bars can be sourced from an old bike. the frame i know someone here can build via scrap steel. cost looks to be in the rear axle

I am reading all of these builds... Where do you see cost in the rear axle? I'm not seeing much information on it at all.

The backside of East Rock (The ass end of rape mountain) has a fire road closed to cars, tons of turns, long run. Essentially perfect for this, so once everyone has them, I say we set up a race there.

I know of a trailer where I can get one free bike of my choosing for FREE. I'd totally do it if it cost under $150.
