cause they looked cool and i wanted to drive one. And now that i pull up in a nice truck, when i ask to test drive things, car salesmen don't look at me like a damn fool.
No worries, I'm not actually back, I'm just reminiscing about the old days.

Obviously if muscle is the name of the game here then that doesn't matter, but chrysler/dodge is making alot of changes and has done some really impressive things.

BTW, done lots of road trips with our charger, for my brother's football games. Plenty of room, great and comfortable ride, and after all its still a nice ass car. I can sit in the back seat and be completely comfortable.
if i do actually go forwards with getting a car this new for myself, which id like to do this year, at this stage in my life it needs to be something ridiculous like the ones in the original post

the main beef i have with the mustang is the room practicality, the backseat is about enough space to store a small assortment of marbles, meanwhile in the charger i could probably hide 75-100 dead bodies and not even squish em

i test drove this stang on saturday and was very happy with the feeling behind the wheel however (not exact pic, it is at acura in milford and the same everything):

received a lot of advice to hold out for a 5.0 (the one above is a 2010 4.6)
      who knows.

I do like the idea of a CTS-V. Technically still Bowtie.

If your going to get a mustang it really should be the 5.0 not the 4.6.

meh. while i appreciate cadillac and love it for what it is (CTS-V is fucking awesome), it isnt the bold-face im lookin for.

i didnt make this thread so much as a shopping list or anything, i just wanted to see what people liked in general. car shopping isnt imminent enough for me to get into that yet

Ones in price range will have a lot of miles. the name of the game is not race car, but rather a newish car thats fun to drive

                  on the table now:

not moving an inch from anything in the original post. not bowtie, not cadillac, not STi, not a Plymouth sundance, not a hyabusa powered jetski that transforms into a blimp, not even an alligator that runs on liberals

if i told you what we paid for the charger you'd be in love. Brand new it cost less than my 08 truck with 30k miles on it.....

and you've seen that trunk, plenty of room for camera equipment, or bodies

bodies is all that matters to me

FWIW i'll only look at 2011+ chargers, new body style. and it has to be an RT, im not entertaining any of the V6 models at this time, even though the v6 stang is bad ass still. they just dont have the v8, i dunno why i need that, but i feel like i do

                      im sure many can understand

i mean shit, im technically not entertaining anything, this wasnt really a shopping thread. hoping that will come later in the year

6 Cylinders are for XJs, everything else gets a V8.

Here is a nice car. I would want the coupe not the convertible.

                            Badass > practicality.

I hear you, Hence why i bought a vehicle with 14 mpgs and commute 75 miles daily...........

My only advice is to stay certified pre-owned, I love the fact that i have the factory warranty, and as soon as it ends in 2016 or at 80k miles, i'll trade in and upgrade to a newer truck. WIN.

u should get a truck cap for added capacity for more dead bodies

Not trying to make you switch, just understanding the reasoning behind the choices.

FWIW the new Chargers are tits even with the base model. Challenger stays truest to the classic look of its earlier models, but apparently steers like a bear.
