  • Welp, I really did it this time....

    I Just ordered a 2012 Wrangler Sport S

White, 2 Door, 6 Speed, Hard Top, 3.73 gears, and power convenience package ......got it for about $600 under invoice using the tread lightly preferred pricing, and I'll still qualify for any additional discounts that Jeep may roll out between now and when it arrives.

These next six weeks are going to be teh suck.

Congrats man. I have an 11 I really wish I waited after test driving the 12. But the price on mine was way to good to pass up. They have some get up and go now. I believe it is a little tuned down in wrangler because it makes 20 more hp.

We have a couple of the 12's with the pentastar at work. They have so much more power than the 11's and the interiors are sweet. Congrats on the purchase

Yeah, I drove my buddy's 11 and then the 12 at the stealership, its such a difference between the two.

Become a 3 year member of tread lightly for $60, receive Chrysler affiliate pricing at the dealership, which is technically 1% plus a 75$ program fee, but with a little haggling I got the dealer to give up their 1% that the program gives them and the 75$ program fee, for 2% off of the invoice price. Any other rebates that Chrysler is still offering can still be applied to that price (ie military, conquest, buyer loyalty, etc.). The program also gives you an 8% discount on new insurance policies though foremost insurance group and a $100 mail in rebate on goodyear silent armor, duratracs, and mt/r's with kevlar. They also have a few other things like contests, merchandise, that kind of nonsense.

Total price out the door including tax and dmv fees was $26220, the original jeep msrp before tax and fees was $26660.

I probably could have haggled down a couple hundred more, but it was nice being in and out of the dealer in 15 minutes.
