    1983 MK2 Supra

we drove out to PA last night to pick up this supra with absolutely 0 rust on it. its a 2.8l 6cyl 5 speed. right now there is low compression in the 6th cyl but we are going to rebuild it so it is drivable for this summer.

hopefully next winter he's going to find a turbo 7mgte motor out of the MK3 supra to swap it. goals are a mild 300hp or so.

this thing is so much fun to drive!
    I drive a Datsun

No, you got me all wrong. I actually can understand someone putting power/money into something rear wheel drive.

Oh but not something AWD? Well, it is a good thing that STis can divert power to their rear axle.

Correct, do not like AWD either for something that is going to be a fun car.

Well yeah sorta, whenever the chevelle is driven there is definite driftage around corners. That's just what makes it fun. Of course hitting the skinny pedal in a car with that much power is great too but I like sliding the ass around the most.

thats right, no fun downshifting and putting your foot to the floor and having the inside front tire break loose and pull you through a turn. nope, no fun at all.

Not for me. It's my opinion, don't bother trying to change it. Come for a ride in my car, better yet take it for a spin and tell me it's not one of the funnest cars you've driven.

Im going to agree with corey here. Ive driven front wheel drive, awd, and rear wheel drive. I definitely prefer rear wheel drive over all the rest. I dont like the torque steer of a front wheel drive. Awd is fun but I do like to brake the tires free every now and then.

                            not all the power.

This car reminds me of the first gen RX-7 my friend got. It caught on fire twice within the week we were tryin to fix it. He got pissed and sold it after the second major fire.
