My ex had on, it was the biggest lush to hit the planet. I had to house sit it for a weekend, and I took her to the tractor show at the Durham fair grounds. A lady with s golden was walking by us her dog going ape shit, while ladella just sat there looking unamused at this barking dog. The lady screams at me that type of dog doesn't belong here. I know she looked intimidating with her pink harness on, and smiling with her tounge out. That's the type of shit I hate.

Every time you post, Dizzy, you make a statement based on an emotion. A firearm will sit on a table and do nothing, cocked and locked, it will never do a thing unless someone touches it.

A living animal is different, it is a living breathing being that is capable of making its own decisions, as basic as they are and beyond our comprehension. Dogs don't think like us, they never will and we cannot begin to comprehend what goes on in a dog's mind. Some are born vicious with a Napoleon Complex, some aren't, some can be raised to be good, some can be raised to be bad, the rest is left up to chance with a survival instinct that is within us all. Wolves and bears are raised by mother nature herself and the blood parents they are so given in the harsh and unforgiving world, but you cannot domesticate a while animal easily, no matter the amount of domestic help. Even a species that is the closest to us, a Chimpanzee, can spent it's life in captivity and be and angle, but as some have seen, their animal instincts can kick in and nothing but a bullet can stop them.

You can post more all you want, it doesn't matter, congrats for being a respectful dog owner and tipping the scales in favor of the righteous while the illicit rule the news and flood the headlines with incidents of killings and mauling.

combine that with the fact they have a history (obviously a minority) of vicious behavior, and you have the current situation. the whole "my pit wouldnt hurt a fly so anyone afraid of pits is dumb" talk is really tired in general and really no different than those people who say pits are evil killers, its just another extreme.

always respect animals and our inability to predict their behavior. many people are killed every year by animals they "trusted" which in reality is a shallow surface as we are different species

Pit bulls and their ancestors, the Bull Dog Terrier, have been used to kill, slaughter and maim for as far back as your history class cared to teach you.

You make it seem like the Breed just came up through the roots of evolution in the late 19th century. There is a reason why they chose those animals, there is a reason why they were bred for what they do, there is a reason for their aggressive behavior because it was centuries of fine crafted training and tinkering with genetics to get a strong, staunch, aggressive, animal that can be trustworthy to only those who own in, and it is not your position to deny those hardships and fruits of labor.
