Storm has been upgraded this morning to a full hurricane. Wave heights 55+. Wind is INSANE! I had to go on deck this morning with the Electrician. One of the compressors that feeds the natural gas to the boilers wasn`t working properly and the only way to it was on deck. The spray from the waves hurt like hell, I`m not going out to get any more pictures. I took some from the bridge but they didn`t come out well due to the spray but it is unreal. Worst weather I have ever been in by far. We actually changed our course to put the bow into the waves so we aren`t even heading for Norway anymore; we`re just trying to ride this thing out.

We dont have chairs anymore in the control room because its impossible to sit. Even standing you slide from one side to the other. 6 days left. Hope we get to Norway on time.

We're back on course more or less now. Everything died down to about how it was yesterday. I'll put up pics when I get a chance, maybe tonight while I'm on watch but I'll see. I got a few from the closed circuit tv cameras on the bow of waves coming over the bow. I never saw waves come over the bow on this ship.
