Cell phone companies are tracing your phone.
Cell carriers and a company called Carrier IQ has a piece of hidden software (called a Rootkit) installed on most phones, including HTC and iPhones, that track and send your usage, text, phone#s dialed, sites visited, etc, back to a central database.
This is even if you've declined to send personal data or use location tracking!!
At this time, Verizon is denying they use it. I certaintly hope so, since I have Verizon cell service.
