I need a gun.

I bought a house and now that I make the rules guns are allowed. I'm looking for a cheap rifle or shotgun that can be bought easily and quickly for now. I want something that can tear a hole through someone's face if need be and have a few spare rounds left over. This will not be the only gun I buy by any means. Cabelas is convenient for me and I'll probably be heading that way this weekend and I see something I like I may put a deposit down and get started on the 2 week cool off,
advice anybody?

p.s. I do not have a pistol permit yet

TIM my sisters boyfriend has a remington 870 I just like the mossberg with the pistol grip especially the mariner which is a dull silver and you can get the attachment to put 6 rounds on the stock for even more bad assness

ya thats sweet i use mine for alot of hunting and have different barrel's its a great home defense gun or multi purpose woods gun and i have the rifled slug barrel for deer season

this is what i have but i have the extended tube to hold 7+1 rounds, and also have the attachment mounts. Also i have a laser so i can make negro's glow when they invade the apartment.

Remington 870. The couple times I shot a Mossberg 500 they felt like junk compared to the Remington. I have a Remington 887 that I absolutely love to shoot. It's more a bird gun, however.
