When we came around the corner and the lights hit his buggy sitting there destroyed, we literally stopped mid course and started saying "holy shit, holy shit, holy shit" repeatedly. We pitted that lap to make sure they were okay. I didn't care about the race at that point. It was scary.

A pile of scrap with a roof section in good condition. As the chassis builder that settled my nerves a bit, but still scary.

Yes, SXS at the same time. That's why Erik called it, he almost killed a guy or two. I don't blame him.

Luckily for us Rusty smacked us so hard he took out a tire. At first I was pretty pissed at him, but after the race I realized that 30 minute tire change was the difference between having visibility and not. Not like he could see us anyway. Later on in the race it got much better, especially when I cut the ground on the 42" LED bar.

Wow, it's a wonder someone didn't fucking DIE.
