thats a question that i cant honestly answer, i really cant explain why all my buddies have vehicles that they drive every day and have no issues and i take mine put a bunch of money into it and break shit in the woods. i guess theres a little bit of an adventuresome spirit within all us jeepers. i suppose for me its no different than flying down the pavement on my crotch rocket at 140+ theres no need for it other than the pure enjoyment. and i guess a jeep is the same thing....ive found in my 22 short years that the feeling i get from my jeep and other jeeps much like all of you on this forum is like nothing that can ever be replicated. i suppose im a little crazy tho

Don't feel bad, Dizzy types the same when while on the couch at home.

Offroading is like fucking crack, we know it's bad, but we keep doing it. One day we will run out of money, become homeless and living on streets and preach to people how bad jeeps are for your health. Until then, SNORT THAT GEAR OIL, BURN THAT OIL AND WRENCH UNTIL YOUR FINGERS BLEED.

I guess you could call me a gearhead. I drive and I build stuff. Its what I do.
I have always raced and loved it. i have always loved wheeling too but not as much as racing. My wife doesnt get to participate when I race, and she ends up sitting watching bored out of her mind.
BUT, she LOVES wheeling, she gets to share the experience, and she feels safer in the vehicle.
I love the comradery that comes with it also. Its different than the racing scene.

not only is it cool to drive to wheel but at times you get to cruse in your jeep and people along the way talk to you about so it's also a comversation peice as well as for pure enjoyment.
