What did you do to your jeep this weekend?

I got in mine and put my foot through the floor time to warm the welded up.

Put a battery in it. Correction, Walmart does it for free so they put the battery in it. I was tired

I just worked on my DD CJ-7
installed new brakes everything from hardware, cylinders, calipers, some lines, rotors that are behind the hubs basically everything but the master I want to convert to a booster soon I have a booster just didn't feel like opening another can of worms.

I also added a park hydro lock so I don't need to buy new cables plus the jeep didn't come with the e-brake pedal anyways.

Then finally put on the tires I got from Dillon, and washed it quick.

The CJ-5 is looking sad that is coming in next.

Did a transfer case linkage fix/mod and successfully broke almost every center console mounting tab

i looked at it as i got in the fusion and drove to rausch

blew a radiator hose in the xj. yay.
and (this doesn't count as weekend) but last week had to change a flat on it in the parking lot at work and had some creep come over assuming i needed help loosening the lugs, which i had already done, grabbed my wrench and hoisted himself up so that he could jump with his full bodyweight..onto my wrench to loosen them...with his nasty sandals and grimey feet. thank god i only keep my cheap wrenches in my truck because i would have ended his life.

and i sadly stared at the yj because putting gas in two jeeps this week was not happening.

Finally had time with the motor out to replace all the brake lines, fix all the wiring, find some rust, degrease the entire engine bay, figure out which vacuum lines i need in the end, turns out, I'll only need about 8 in total, and finally got on having the motor built. Hurricane Irene brought the win for me jobs still without power

Finally bought the ford shock towers for the front. Adds 2" so I can run a 12" travel shock on under 4" of lift
