Just got a gopro the other day for OER, tested it out today on the dirt bike. Angle of the the camera was pointing down a little to far. Enjoy

That's awesome, Dana! Such awesome cameras. I've also seen those Contour HD cameras but the gopros look a bit more durable to me...at least for what we do.

they have a contour GPS model... and contour has their own site to upload videos and it shows you real time where you are on a map

not sure if i like that idea haha

Its a little small of a track for a 450 but it can be done, unfortunately its a 3+ yr waiting list.

looks like you had the camera on setting r5. r4 will give you a better picture when you mount it on your helmet, as its taller not wider

i suggest using R3 for stuff like this

fastest frame rate, highest bitrate, most wide view (wide meaning scope, not literally wide side to side)

its what i use at every event i shoot on cars/people

all R5 is is a standard def mode in 16:9, which i never ever use

I think you are thinking of R1

R5 is 1080p???

I have the helmet pro and they recommend r4 for on the body type mounting as it "offers the most vertical viewing area off all the resolutions"

r3 is "when mounting on vehicles or gear when i wide angle is desired, and ultra slow motion playback"

Just try it on R3 anyway and see how it looks.
