I'm completely fucking baffled.

Maybe I'm completely fucking computer stupid, but I cleaned up a lot of shit off my hard drive, deleted a lot of old files I wasn't using and then defragged my hard drive.

Now none of my games on Steam work.

I deleted all the content for Left 4 Dead 2 and reinstalled it.

Still won't load at all, I get an error that the .exe isn't loading.

So I uninstalled EVERYTHING including steam. I deleted steam and everything steam related from my computer and reinstalled everything, reinstalled left 4 dead 2 and the addon support.

Still a problem loading the left4dead2.exe.

What the fuck am I doing wrong here? Did I totally kill my computer's ability to play video games now? Halp me plz.

Steam is the first problem... as soon as it rolled out back in like 2003 it was nothing but problems... some things never change (steam is the big thing that got me out of computer gaming)

That sucks because Steam has been flawless for me for 6 years now and this is the first problem I've ever had with it.
