I'd be willing to bet that an enormous majority of passengers killed in accidents similar to this, knew exactly how drunk the driver of the vehicle was, and to some extent may have even provoked(or at the least, didn't oppose to) retarded driving behavior themselves. With a person like Ryan Dunn, and knowing the "crew" he surrounds himself with, I would put down a large sum of money that both parties were up for some shenanigans in Dunn's new Porsche that night, putting both parties at fault. The passenger could have easily done what he could to stop Dunn from driving, but he obviously didn't.
So, frankly, I'm not sure I give a shit that the passenger was killed. Now, if an innocent car was involved in the wreck, that would be a different story.
