I unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you look at it) have the same problem. If I have the money to spend, i'm too afraid to spend it on anything! Must be a girl thing.

i think it's a girl thing. will is constantly telling me to just go out & buy something and i just never do...i keep telling myself i'm saving up for something major like a car or a house, but i'm just so hesitant all the time

The only thing I am hesitant about is buying shit for my jeep. I want longarms but don't want to spend the money on Longarms.

Well jeeps like everyone else but even more expensive is the tools to build the jeep.
I'm the guy that spends all his money on tools to build a budget buggy.
I want custom steering I guess I need to buy a lathe, taps and reamers, and it snow balls from there.
But I look at tools as an investment. I save up for good tools that I'll have for a long time out and they make me a little bit of money in return.

The rest of my hobbies kind of disappeared from the lack of money and time.

Then not hobby just other expensive expenses, wife, kid, house.

i dont get the whole big expensive ring deal-i have no idea how much you spent, but IMO i could never bring myself to wear something that costs a shitload of money...too much responsibility and with my lifestyle i would be so terrified of losing it. plus i know i'm going to end up with my mom's diamond anyway

same here! expensive clothes and jewelery make me nervous! and stuff like $600 necklaces and what not..what is the point?!

Once again I agree with you ladies on this one.. KIS is how I roll - keep is simple.. Our guys better appreciate how lucky they are with this one!!

I don't think this is true. I have a lot of interests but very few actual hobbies, just because I don't want to spend the money. I have my jeep and 2 guns. Which I don't even shoot enough to be an expensive hobby, but it would be.
I have some weird reasoning that I must keep a certain amount of money in the bank. Mostly because I think my jeeps engine will blow up at any day now, been having this feeling since I got it, and I will need to replace it.
