Sooo...Will wanted a cable camera saddle, so he looked on the internet for some pictures and found some cable camera stuff and he chose the simplest one to replicate.
So We built it at my shop.
(God, my desk is a disaster...)
The threaded insert for the square tube hand crafted on my lathe.
Installed in the square stock and held in with a roll pin. The threaded inserts are for the bolts that hold on the cloths line rollers.
Finished product.

Needless to say Monday was an extremely productive day and HMC now has something to capture rolling action up to 100 feet. It's simple, effective, and fucking sweet.
