He did exactly what he wanted to do: become a firefighter and retire before 50 with full pension. Police do it, too.

Yea but he didn't really retire. Hes getting disability payments for an injury that doesn't exist. I think its usually like 20-25 years until you can retire with pension, and what police and fireman normally do it retire after that many years to get their pension and Then get hired back with the same or another department.
