when i did have functioning auxiliary lights I used them so often I never left the covers on so I've never had this problem

i use mine off road but i used them a few times when no one is on the road at night and one of the times a cop had to pull out of a drive way so i put the covers on to keep mr from using them lol

What's more disturbing than those silly little smiley face covers is the fact that you got pulled over for not having them on. I think if you had them on I'd give you a ticket for the pure fact that they suck at life. Ditch the yellow, paint em black or do something other than smileys...I would buy them if they made them to look like this --->

x3. anytime im driving at night i use the hellas cuz they are 5x brighter than my stock headlights. i aim them down tho so i dont blind anybody. I have never been flashed once or pulled over for it being bright
