well chris talks about not having money and selling the 96 wouldn't get all that much, the 01 is worth alot more. plus even though everyone wants to help out they have limited time. to swap the lift and front axle will take forever since he will wait for others. also wont want to scratch it or dent it so will prob take it alot less places than the 96. isn't the thing still overheating and having problems of its own?

the way i see it is the 96 is already done, just fix the trans seal and get a few grand selling the 01 then you have money for mods, bills or whatever

the issue is chris has basically no mechnical no-how, so having a fixer up jeep as his wheeler/driver doesnt make much sense to me...sure he can get people to help fix it sometime but liek u said they dont have all the time in the world and itd be at their convenicne not his..and thats whats been goin on

the 01 is a functioning jeep compared to the 96 as far as i know..hes got his tires and his lift already...

either way i say sell both the fawkin things and get a ZJ seein as thats what he even wants

as far as i can see the only issue now is the trans seal, which if he sells the 01 he will have plently of money to get that squared away. hes gotta learn sometime and swapping the stuff to the 01 will require help/someone doing it for him. i say sell the 01, get the 96 seal squares away, throw the tires on it. wheel it a little and look for a zj in the meantime. then when he finds a zj i think parting out the 96 will make him the most money. save the tires and someone, or even I, will help him revert the 96 back to stock.

I think riot needs to motivate himself

Thats the reason why mj isnt in the greatest shape. I dont have the motivation to work on it. It needs a motor, new leaf springs, and clutch. The only time I fix something on it is when something breaks that results in not driving and if I cant listen to music. Id rather work on someone else's vehicle then mine.
