we backordered them cause we are running low until the new order comes in.
Basically they are military wrap leaf springs made to a custom size for us by a company in Canada that makes leaf springs for HD applications.
the 4.5's are 7 leaves
the 6.5's are 8 leaves
I like them alot, stiff enough for the road, excellent in the rocks. Bushings are similar to the clevite ones and last long time.
That's the breakdown on the clayton springs. They are $409 for the pair regularly on the website, which is a hell of a price for the quality. I'd say the next step up from them would be Deavers. Call Adam at the shop and talk to him, i do not know what exactly the deal is on ordering them or how long you would have to wait.No worries, I'm not actually back, I'm just reminiscing about the old days.

Yessss, figure i'd bring this up to.
I have severe issues with axle wrap, although i do not believe that it is the leaf springs.
I still have stock shackles.... so any shackle angle is non exsistant and it basically creates a situation where the leaf is pretty much bolted down on each end.
That and immeasurable amounts of skinny pedal are a huge part of that, plans are to alleviate it with an anti wrap bar later. No worries, I'm not actually back, I'm just reminiscing about the old days.
