Just figured I'd let you all in on the celebration. After a grueling 3 year time period, with LOTS of swearing, throwing wrenches, often threatening family members, and just short of putting a bullet in my head, my trans am is running and soon to be on the street again. It took about $7K and a TON of patience, but this thing should be a beast, and I am looking very forward to driving something with some power behind it for a change. (don't worry, I still love the TJ).
I plan on having it roadworthy in the next week, and I'll try to get some pics up of it.....maybe even a vid, haha.
Engine consists of. . .
-355 CI bottom end (about 9.7:1 comp with heads)
-trick flow aluminum heads
-Comp 276 cam
-Comp roller rockers
-edelbrock air gap RPM manifold
-Holley 750cfm carb
-MSD ignition
I am figuring based on other combos I've seen that it should be good for about 430 flywheel horsepower, so around 330 to 360 at the rear wheels.
