30-35 pounds on the street, 10-15 on the trail.

Why? I dunno. 30 psi works just fine on the road and leaves a nice even wear pattern and at 10-15 psi on the trail it's low enough to let the tires grip well enough without breaking the bead.

50 PSI in the front, 70 PSI in the rear on the street, and round on the trail. Because round works better than flat.

Na, I always had my ranger at about 25 or 30 i think and the tires look like they have worn ok.

        Why, what happened?

depends on your tires entirely, and in some cases wheels

truth. I was reading an article in JP the other day and they were testing the Nitto Trail Grappler. On a JK they only ran them at 14psi on the street to get the correct contact patch. They were a load range E tire. That is the first time I have seen a street pressure that low. I run around 30 on the street and 10-12 on the trail. Although I have run them around 8.

97 TJ that I think is pretty neat.

I'm running the same as you phil and was just curious mostly if anyone has experimented with different street pressures. Yes wheels and tire specs matter but I'm just generalizing radial mt's and steelies

i did the chalk test with my tj with 35x12.50s load range c and 27psi worked well on the road for me , vehicle weight, tire contact width etc all will play a part in it. I'd air down to 12-14 on the trail but would burp air from the bead occasionally

btw, ran load range d 36x13.5's on same vehicle and at 15psi they looked fully inflated stll...

I run 30-35 on the street and 10-12 off road.

On a side note of rims and tire talk, I was thinking of doing beadlocks. Is there a benifet to running them with a rig like mine with the type of wheeling I(we) do?

                        do you blow beads often?

do you wish you could run less than 10-12psi?

                          25 street

                          12 trail

I did the chalk test and the Trail Rapers liked 25PSI. However, now that they're drag slicks I dont have to worry about a wear pattern anymore. WIN!

                              this

i have a 8" rim, with a 13.5" wide tire, with stiff ass sidewalls. I will rip the sidewall b4 i blow a bead.. and i can run 12 psi and my tires dont bulge
