Problem is that around here, whenever someone posts something of real substance, it gets ignored and it falls to the bottom of the page without any notoriety. I was going to post an elaborate disassembly guide to the 1911 filled with dozens of macro pics, but I figured no one would give a shit like they did with the topic about the brief history of the 1911's 100 year anniversary.
