    yeah the 0331 heads are MORE likely to crack....my 00 has zero rust...just sayin'

        I cant seem to find the thread on jeep forum, but there was a funny quote where some one said something about how people think that at the turn of the key, the 0331 head with jump out of the jeep and start eating small children. When the engine over heats they are prone to crack. Overheating is something people try not to do by taking care of their jeep by fixing water pumps and radiators. I have a 2000 and I have never gone over 210 degrees. This summer It was a hot day (90's) and I was at gulf beach, noticed a huge puddle of coolant under my jeep. Drove to auto zone for a new rad hose and some coolant, then back to my house and I never reached over 215. My 0331 head survived with out problems. Its just more likely then any other years.

          that was why i said MORE likely, if you are good to the engine and pay attention to the temp you shouldn't have a problem, my uncle has an 01 with 220k+ on it with no issue

          as for my 00, the rear wiper doesn't work....that's the only thing wrong with it, besides the fact that it's stock, PM me if you want the info

              Depends on what you intend to use it for. If you plan on chopping the piss out of it and extensive drivetrain swappage, you would be better off finding something cheap.

              I find the 97+ interiors much more appealing, and the exteriors slightly nicer looking. If I was looking for a real clean jeep, I would go with something between 97-99.

                go with a 99 if you can find one. they have a different intake manifold and the non 0331 issue. moa powa than others

                    the improved manifold was to bring the power back that was robbed from emissions equipment.
                    Only way to gain more power is to do an intake/header swap with some more supporting mods.

                              That kit doesn't look good. First no shocks so thats like $200 more at least. I wouldn't trust the brackets, although thats just my opinion, no proof. And I don't know what to call them, but those long arms only replace the lowers and have no replacement for the uppers. Most other kits have the little arms the branch off of the lower long arms.
