thats bullshit. my bank sucks then. whenever i need large amounts for work i have to order it 3 days in advance. large being like 5000 . . . not 30000

Wow that's nuts the most you can withdrawl from a bank around here without them asking a lot of questions is $5,000. Any more than that and there are mandatory verification processes and such. To be honest i think because it's a local branch they actually wire transfer it to a larger national bank (Bank of America, Chase, Etc.) where you can go and it pick it up.
