hah, funny story about that. Apparently the supposed "cemetery" that owned our future staging area tried to begin constructing said cemetery there. They widened the gravel road in and began to grade it in prep for paving. Only they never informed the town, hired any surveyors or GCs, nor bothered to take out any permits.

The town of Wolcott called my uncle to ask him what was going on because that gravel road is in fact his property (unlike the cleared land where we staged which I guess belonged to the cemetery, which is pointless b/c its surrounded by my uncles land lol), and he had absolutely no idea.

The city shut down the construction work and put up jersey barriers per my uncles request at the end of the cul-de-sac to prevent the cemetery from attempting to continue construction.

So in the end....the damn mystery cemetery ruined everything.

Unfortunately, yes., esp. now that the barriers have been put up. Its not so much that we cant go on it, it is after all his land...its just all the fallout from the neighborhood, and now the cemetery's actions that have ruined it.

i say we have the town replace the jersey barriers with regular boulders (easily bypassable by them there rockcrawlin' folk) and allows for limited access for responsible and legal land use
