Couldn't. I drilled and tapped the front of the stock for a sling stud to mount it, but the problem is the plastic they used back in the 60s and 70s was so cheap and prone to cracking, that any lateral tension from that bi-pod would simply shatter the stock.

I was pretty disappointed about it. Oh well.
