Here in America, or at least in the lesser free states, they have all but banned fireworks to the extent that all you can own are sparklers and even then, some states it's illegal to give sparklers to minors.
But in Iceland, a country that has outright banned the sale of Handguns, you can buy fireworks by the 'tonne'. Seeing all those fireworks in the sky, spanning an entire city's skyline, must be one of the greatest sights to see.
It may even beat out last year when I went to Long Island for the fireworks and later that night it sounded like WWII over Europe with random fireworks going off at random intervals, mimicking the sounds of artillery and flak.
What the fuck. Oh well. In the end, freely owning as many pistols and AR15s as I can beats out buying a slew of fireworks...
