Can you tell me what all this bullshit car rental fee nonsense is? Granted it isnt from Enterprise, but from what I recall, enterprise has the same stuff.

Seriously wondering what this actually is. Or if its really just, as Nick put it, a "take my money" fee.

Well, I meant it as the 'Tourism' tax. I'm not sure any other state has a Tourism Tax, other than California, not just a Car Rental Place specific Tax.

I have never heard of any of those, but California is obviously different thean Jersey. Here we just have 7% sales tax and a $5 Domestic Security Fee. the domestic fee was put on by Jersey after 9/11 for homeland security funding, yet it is only on rental cars and we have no way around it. It started at $2, then went to $3, now $5. That is the only "extra" fee we have tho besides sales tax. California sounds like the AIDS for car rental. How much was all of this?

pretty sure enterprise in CA is 25 a day.

hertz is 15 a day or 25 a day depending on the car, unsure what it is yet because it isnt integrated into their site
