How much did you put in? I know little about diesels, but if its only a little couldnt you throw deisel in it and burn it out? I have no idea, I just know it wouldnt have any issue burning it, just issues with the injectors or something. It cant be as bad as diesel in a gas vehicle... or could it?

hope you didnt drive it like that, if so and it stopped running, you'll probably need to drain the tank, the lines, the fuel filter etc..

i ended up just having the truck towed to be safe. not abotu to blow up a brand new 50K truck.

here's the story. i had a delivery to bar harbor maine and decided it was a good idea to make the delivery in 1 day from nyc. long story short, 22 hours of driving later my brain was completely fried and i was in zombie mode. last fill up before i get home i'm rushin and just grab the green nozzle cuz green is usually diesel (or yellow). turns out the mobils make their gas nozzles multi color, 1 being green


it was running when i was filling it, i shut it off when i realized and it had about 8 gallons of gas in it. i filled the rest with diesel (20 gallon tank) to dillute it and pushed it off to the side. then waited all morning for a tow truck and its at the shop now gettin the tank and lines drained, and new filters. i hope i didn't fuck it up, it wasn't running weird but i'm expecting an injector bank to blow up and me be working for free for a couple months. $8000 job
