    I notice the difference without the swaybar and prefer to have it connected when not wheeling so quick disconnects are great. But that story makes me wonder... seems like the accident was blamed on the swaybar, basically I think he was probly going to flip over with or out without it.

      this is how i always see these arguments

      lifted jeep, has to swerve at highway speeds violently...why would a swaybar save you versus not having one?

      swaybars are designed by jeep for a factory xj, what makes a swaybar so effective at controlling a completely different xj?

      factor in the fact people change to stiffer springs, stiffer shocks, and a wider stance and i think the stock swaybar has lot most of its influence.

      I run no swaybars and have for 5 years now, my shocks and spring setup now has eliminated my road going body roll
