I needed to buy some stuff for the saturn so we pulled...

                  Two front seats
                  Carpet
                  Side mirror
                  Window trims (2)
                  Half a rear seat
Some small interior knobs and such

The guy had originally quoted 250$ for everything, then when we went to pay, He only charged me $120

I know it's not an axle, but I figured I'd tell ya that the price depends on the guy and the mood he is in.
Is it egg nog season yet?

when i got an axle for my car i used a sawzall, so im assuming a cut of wheel is ok. they said i couldnt use a torrch but thats reasonable

if your looking for an 8.8, look for a 98-2000ish ford explorer rear end on car-part.com junkyard search. alot in RI for under $200

I paid $160 for a complete explorer 8.8 (calipers. discs, hell even sway bar) from Johnson Auto Salvage through carpart.com search. They pulled it, and put it right inside my wrangler also

8.8 cost 100 and I suppose you could use a cutoff wheel but there are easy ways to go about it.

when i got my 8.8 from chuck and eddies they wouldn't let us pull it ourselves after we searched and found one. instead they sold us one off the shelf for $220. i would've rather saved the money and pulled it.
