I like my night sites. but the laser could be helpful if you ever need to use the gun at night i guess.

Lasers are gimmicky and extremely expensive, frail and campy. If you are planning to defend your home or yourself at night, get a Flashlight and learn to use it effectively.

Night Sights are something that will help you out at all times of the day or night.

Wrong. All elite snipers use laser sights. Dont you watch movies?

You're right. Tom Barringer had at least 30 lasers on his Sniper Rifle in the movie Sniper.

In the second one, when he picked up the Mosin Nagant and called it a Mauser, it had 40 laser sights in 3 different colors on it.

x2, and the last thing you want is to have the batteries die the 1 time you need to use it.

Also not every gun has a laser, so its best to train and familiarize yourself with just using sights. know what i mean?

I have night sights on my kimber and love it.

Nightsights will be the next addition to my g23

I think having a laser would be nice but holster options close up and Im limited with my FNX as it is. Glock though, go for it if you dont mind the pay out. I really dont see the NEED for it. Night sites on the other hand would be handy all the time and wouldn't add chunk to the firearm.

Phil how hard is it to replace the sights on a glock?

As for the laser it is all internal and the switch is on the take down lever, so no issues with holsters.
Dead batter would be my biggest issue. But at least the gun will still fire.
The laser might give away your position.

I have both on my 26 a lasermax and mepro sights.. The sights should be a first buy, the laser is more of a show of force it suxs during the day but is great and accurate at night. I have put over 1000 rounds through it with the laser with no malfuction yet and fits all holsters. I recomend crossbreed for ccw.

Replacing the sights on the Glock isn't hard, you just need the right set of Punches.

I'd still stick with the flashlight. A Laser is more of a Range Toy.

Don't worry about giving away your position either, a Flashlight will do just the same, but at night, the Flashlight has the ability to visually disable your attacker if only for a split second. Sure-Fire flashlights are fucking bright and they make you see stars during the day, imagine what it can do at night.

I'm also not saying get a flashlight that bolts to your gun, either. A regular flashlight that goes on your belt is a great tool for not only self defense, but other generalized tasks like Seeing in the Dark.

This, was extremely fucking funny to me for some reason. I carry an led flashlight with me, specifically to use when I shoot sometimes, just to keep on top of my "oh shit who the fuck is in my house?" Or "goddamn zombies waking me up in the middle of the night" scenarios.

Hell I have a flash light in my pocket at all times, as a mechanic you use it non stop.
Just an LED mini mag but pretty bright.
I would love one of those crazy bright flashlights but I would destroy it the first day out.

Then I'll probably get the night sites first. Well when I get the money.

                              Thanks
