I do not CC that daily, it's too big and heavy for just walking around. I do plan on picking up something else eventually (Kimber Custom Carry or something) to replace my old HK P7 that I used to sport around but found that to be too cumbersome as well. I'd rather have 6 rounds of 45 ACP than 8 rounds of 9mm.

i had a feeling that was gonna be the case with the 1911 frame.. im getting ready to apply for my ccw and have always loved that gun. i have a feeling im going to want to look into something a lil bit smaller in the .45 acp flavor so i can comfortably use my permit for its intended purpose

That 1911 will find it's home in a drop leg holster from either Eagle or Blackhawk!, not a CCW holster.
