i washed a guy at work snap his carrier in half driving up route one in branford, not beating on it. alan 'll tell the truth the d35 is possibly one of the worst rearends to hit the planet not just for wheeling, but for daily driving. swap yours asap in the spring i'll be doing a 44, if you wait i'll seel you my locked armored 8:25 with alloy shafts.
Boy... I guess people cant read. lol You saw someone, Im asking you if YOU have ever had a problem ,
Thanks for the sale but, I'm swapping to my LSD dana 35 this week and dont plan on anything else unless I have any issues.
So are you trying to personally disprove the reliability of a Dana 35? I guess I just dont understand where the question is in whether it is a good axle or not for off roading. There is no myth here.

I can read, actually. You just have problems accepting the fact that the D35 fucking sucks, that you cannot pose questions correctly and the fact that I am going to answer your poorly posed questions with well posed quips.
I still stand by what I said. Have I ever had a problem with one? Yes, it came stock in my jeep and that is a problem. Did I ever break one? Yes, the e-brake cable when swapping in my 8.25 29 spline.
Besides, Fred has broken enough D35s for 3 people.

honestly run the lsd d35. if it doesn't break, great. if it does, then your jeep sits for a bit till you buy a different axle. not that big of a deal
I disagree with this mindset, even though youre playing devils advocate here against "the crowd"
I dont know about you, but I dont have much fun on the trail with a toasted axle, especially far from home on a trail in the woods. And neither do the others with you on the run.
Unless you do most of your wheeling breakage in your driveway "runnin it til it breaks!!1!11!!!!" IMO is a dumb move and doesnt only inconvenience you, but others with you.

Aww, man. Fred had so much fun at RC fixing his axle twice in one weekend though!
Seriously. You better pray your D35 was built on a Wednesday.
