Isn't the ability to create fire quite a bit more important than electricity, you would have to know how to run a plant to keep it up in the long run

I live in fairfield CT, not in the alps. making fire would not be a challenge worth thinking about.

a generator will run off diesel so long as you have diesel, which probably wouldnt be terribly hard to come by. a generator can run heat, a a million other things. as well as create fire. why would you need a power plant to self sustain?

because you live in fairfield surrounded by millions of people most thinking the same way, how long will the diesel last then?

millions of people are going to flock to Fairfield for diesel? There isnt any civilization around Fairfield? Huh.

Where are these millions with the same plan coming from to drain Fairfield dry of diesel? By diesel I am not talking about hitting up the local Fairfield Exxon and topping off my tank. EVery school bus, 18 wheeler, and public works vehicle runs on diesel, as well as countless other things in an industrial area.

The entire population of fairfield county doesnt even add up to one million

Its that type of attitude which will inevitably leave you dead in the event of a disaster.

i have confidence in myself once i rip this needle out of my arm

you boys better be nice to Cole and I. from what I hear we're providing a boat.
If I'm at work when it happens I'm bringing a tanker. Kinda trumps your boat
