They are. Most pre-runners and trophy trucks are all 2 wheel drive. They have a locked solid rear axle but since the front suspension has so much travel, you physically cannot use the front axle shafts. Some are 2wd from the start, but in the end, they aren't rock crawling, so 4wd isn't needed.

True, but most people who think of offroad, think 4x4. I was just saying its pretty cool that they race 2wd trucks offroad. They were showing all the fucking dirt that goes in the trucks, that's insane haha, the guys can't even see and get all welted up.
