I, for one, have been selected to be retrained by the State of Connecticut on proper operation of a motor vehicle.
Said training is a direct result of me failing to abide by the standard "rules of the road."
So, there I was, stuck in traffic on Route 69 in Woodbridge, CT one mildly warm July day. Someone had flown down the exit from the Merritt (yet again...) and into someone minding their business, rudely interrupting the extremely important cell-phone conversation they were having. I happen to drive a vehicle with four-wheel-drive (some of you may as well) and was contemplating hopping the curb and driving the six feet to the right-hand turn I had to make.
Ten minutes later, I did it.
...right as the statie walks out of the bank on the corner.
The lawling may begin now.
