sick day

so today i woke up sick as a dog (y do they say that my dog is perfectly healthy) but i called out and seeked refuge from my couch and tv. around ten my service manager called me saying i needed to bringa doctors note and if i didn't a penalty would be brought upon me. i know the labor law is three days before you need a note anyone have any insight with this cause i can't find the law?

go in and vomit in the service area, I believe the worst they can legally do is take one of your vacation days or not pay you

For paid sick leave of three or more consecutive days, an employer may require reasonable documentation that such leave is being taken for the purpose permitted under subsection (a) of this section. If such leave is permitted under subdivision (1) or (2) of subsection (a) of this section, documentation signed by a health care provider who is treating the employee or the employee's child indicating the need for the number of days of such leave shall be considered reasonable documentation.

Looks like you're good.

If they give you a hard time, call the Dept. of Labor.
