I won a GoPro motorsports hero, and i was wondering if you guys could give me any tips on how to get this thing working? I've been pushing buttons for the last 20 minutes, and still haven't figured out how to make a video. It would be great, if someone could tell me how to transfer the videos from the GoPro to my computer. Also, how do i delete everything off the SD card without a computer. Thanks

u need to turn it on, and put it in video mode (little video camera icon on the display), and then hit the top button once to start recording


if it came with a manual, itll have all the info you need....they all come with manuals

to get it om the comp, you either need to take the SD card out its recording to and put it in a card reader, or use the USb cable that came witht he thing and plug it in

I got one a while ago, and have yet to actually open the box- I wanted to use it down at OER a bit, too.

Yes, its the HD model, and when the guy gave it to me it only came with the camera, a 32GB SD Card, USB wire, the casing, and the HD cables for the TV. No directions.

On another note, when you render it with Sony Vegas (assuming you used Sony Vegas) what rendering settings did you use?

you can pretty much render it in anything in vegas...but my most common render for the web setting for HD is the 4.8mbs 720p pre-set in .wmv format..works like a charm

I use r3 for nearly everything I do (mounted on race cars/helmets)

every onboard in this one is a gopro hd set on r3
