This has always baffled my mind.
Why is society (at least the kind around here and similar across the nation) so against the concept/idea of people servicing their own vehicles.
Vehicles are a part of pretty much everyone's daily life, and are required for most to survive/function in today's world.
Why is it considered "weird" or generally negative to work on your own vehicle if you have the knowledge/ability to? Maybe I am way off base, but this is the impression I get from people on a pretty regular basis.
I am sure its related to the area..but it isnt some Fairfield phenomenon...its a pretty run of the mill suburb/area that exists throughout the country.
