vis is not fantastic in the northeast. its just known haha but its more respectable i guess ya can say then the bath tub divers down in florida and such. more history up here too. all thats down there is picture taking really.

check out books by Gary Gentile. hes got a lot of knowledge on northeast diving and has a ton of books out on it. good guy too, i think he has a website also

It was kinda a spur of the moment thing. We woulda gone to RI or in the Sound, but it ended up being more effort than it was worth. I also know visability sucks, but we had all sorts of dive lights, so it woulda been alright. I was just looking to see if anyone knew of anything interesting close to home.

Oh well, next time I guess. thanks for the heads up tho.
