I know in atleast Virginia and Connecticut there is no open container law.

In the Great state of mississippi, you can actually be drinking AND driving, as long as you do go over the legal limit....

you CANNOT be on a state road like RT7 or 84, has to be side streets to remain legal, asked a couple cops this, they said they bust kids all the time on this technicality.
