    final cut pro would definitely be a help for a person in your position. but how easy is it to juice up an imac to the level you need it to be?

    8gb ram.......

      Building your own tower is hella easy and a lot cheaper than trying to modify a Mac that would cost you an arm, a leg, your first born child, and probably your plantation of... oh, wait.

      We'll just leave it at arm/leg/first born.

        From what i've heard with 64 bit OS's they used to be plaugued with all sorts of compatability issues when they first came out like 6-8 years ago but they have gotten much better and that regard. You should have evrything work just fine.
        01 XJ 3" on 33's and some new paint n stuff. Gone.

        1989 Jeep Comanche, sold to HeavyMetal

        2000 Subaru Impreza RS. Built WRX motor and coilovers and stuff.

          is it possible to run an mac OS emulator on windows so that you are able to install fcp7?

            I have heard of such a thing being possible with other programs so I would assume yes.

                all joking aside, the iMac i had was my favorite computer of all time. the hugh high quality display and all in one solution made it awesome. Depends on how big of a project your talking. the i7 is a beast from what i hear.

                  macs are sweet, but it depends on your budget. macs are $$$ and more $$$ to upgrade.

                  windows crap is cheap and you can buy more of it for less. but its windows...
                  winng. all the goddamned time.

                    my thoughts.

                    i pulled the trigger today on the 6 core AMD X6 processor...upped it to 10gb of RAM though. the most ive ever had times about 3, haha. if this fuckin thing isnt an HD video editing machine, i give up..

                    oh and the 27" monitor, which i think im most excited for


                    lets not leave out the muscle car fighter jet case.. haha...lots of bays
