  • Rover dude Shelton, CT

Saw a link to the site posted on Pirate and it seems a lot of you guys are in my area so I hope to get involved with your club. I'm currently in one local club and usually find some guys who wheel independently to go out with.

If anyone wants to know about me, my name is Jim, I live in Shelton and I'm a transmission rebuilder(mostly stock slushboxes) in West Haven and I have thing for muscle cars, horsepower and offroad rigs. I don't have much time on my hands since I recently moved and have a ton of projects at home, but I will try and be active on here and hit up the trails when I can.

My truck is an '04 Disco, pretty basic mod list:

    OME Supension
    Greg Davis rear bumper
    265/75/16BFG Mud Terrains
    Rovertym Steering
    Rovertym Diff and tank protection
    Bottorf Sliders
    Dual True Tracs

Maybe some other stuff. My brain is fried.

Hope to see you on the trails

    -Jim

I usually don't go down that way, but there are a couple others in the area. People always call me and tall me they saw me somewhere.

Only a late model Mustang at the moment. I was into older Buicks and Grand Nationals with my father back in the day. Unfortunately I don't have the extra $$$ to get into a resto right now.

                    This is my current car:

And this is a GN my father purchased new and is now my brother's:

It has gone 10.3 @ 130 and now has a 4.1 between the fenders. Hopefully some new numbers to come.

And thanks for the compliments on the truck!

We also have a '98 XJ that we want to build for my little brother once we have some time and extra cash. I already have a 5" lift here at work but $$$ has been tight over the past year or so.
