hey everyone new girl from marlborough/middletown, ct! just got my 99 white pretty much stock cherokee dec 30th for $6000 with just 82000 miles on her. all shes got so far that places her from a lil stock jeep is a k&n air filter that just got cleaned, 2" lift, 31s and a Lexus hitch cover haha. two weekends ago my man and i put in a new water pump, thermostat, radiator, and heater core line.
this is pretty much my first real ride seeing as my grandma sold me her lil grandma green 94 camry and thats all ive had for the past 4years. the first day i got the slam cam though i took it on a trail and got it stuck on a rock with a couple friends out in the woods behind my house. ive never really been the driver while offroading but i love wheelin and muddin, just need to find some good people to ride with to learn from and break in the kee.
main reason for getting the ride was so i could stop begging my friends to go wheelin when we got bored, tired of watching extreme 4x4 and wondering what my camry would look like with a lift and 35s, and i wasnt able to take the short cut to work all summer cause it was a dirt road and my shocks, suspension, and just about EVERYTHING were shot on my camry.
dont know a lot bout trucks and cars but just enough to get by, or to start up a conversation with a guy ha. no but my boyfriend teaches me everything i know and does the work i just help him the best i can and throw in the money and 30racks. he'll probably start up a username soon he wants his own buggy (land cruiser wrangler or cherokee) mainly for offroading.
im already on cherokeeforum.com and jeepz.com
got a lot of projects/purchases to be made and a lot of information to take in so message me or just say hi. itd be sick to meet up with some folks for an offroad trip. i think im going to one in april with guys from cherokeeforum.com. I work a lot so best i can do is a day or weekend in the CT, RI, MA, NH, VT, NJ area
-thanks for checking out my post. Aly
