the Name is Ian and im open and ready for anything
so anyways im a partial noob....i dont have much of a rig, and a few of you have helped me out so far with stuff and i really appreciate it. I joined up a while ago but shortly before that wrecked my jeep...then continued on a long journey to get another one on a budget...and now that i have one i actually have a reason to be active in the forums....and now the total noob part...someone please tell me how to embed images instead of hyperlinking to them....
theres a few of my grille and the jeep all together....
now for the story behind it
My dad works with a guy who has been a Cherokee fan almost his whole life. So this year he bought a 2001 Ford Explorer, decent price, decent vehicle.
Well he had a 1995 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4x4, and I knew this, so I had my dad ask him what he was doing with it. Apparently he was junking it, so I told my dad to make him an offer and I'll pay him back if he buys it for me. So my dad jokingly offered him a whopping $50. Best part is, HE AGREED!
So I am now the proud owner once again of my beloved Cherokee! She has 220K miles on her but still runs pretty good. no longer Needs an exhaust, radiator, and a windshield, or tires...just gotta patch up some cancer on it....other than that ready to roll
Drove her home 40 miles, with 3 quarts of oil, a bad radiator leak, and less than a quarter tank of gas...she drove straight, true, and smooth at 75mph! Cheap no?
