Hey SiS! My names matt and you can find me on naxja and jeepforum. I've been talking to heavy metal and he convinced me to sign up over here. I'd love to join and go wheelin with you guys. My xj is pretty much stock with a few mods.

I'm starting school at ecsu in the fall. I'm starting to think I should have of picked western because of the wheeling scene out there. I'm heart broken because I can't take my jeep to school in three short weeks, but I'd love to attend a meet and greet or even a wheeling trip before hand.

I can't get pictures up now because my home Internet is down. I'm using my iPhone to post here.

Anyway, I'm from New Britain and there is pretty much nothing to wheel here. From what ive seen the majority of ct jeepers do live on the east side but I could be wrong. Heavy, I might try that trick next year haha. It'd be awesome.

Can anyone recommend a decent wheeling spot to me? I'm looking to go today after work but I want to try something new. My friend told me about a forest in new Hartford he has heard of and if we don't find something else we are going to try that today. I do have a gps so if you have coordanites to the exact entry site that would be awesome.

Welcome. Your friend may be talking about Nepaug which is contriversial and you should only stay on the main trail during the day.

He actually did say nepaug I just didn't know how to spell it lol. How should I enter the forest? Is there a specific vehicle path or what? And how techincal does the wheeling get?

                            Thanks.
