Hello all. I heard about the club from a buddy of mine with a big Jeep. He went with a few guys from here to Rausch Creek last year and I wanted to get involved ever since.
Although new to SiS, I'm certainly not new to wheelin'. Ive had quite a few wheelin' rigs over the years. Mostly stock because Im cheap but I've gotten pretty good at stock wheelin'.
Ive had a few Jeeps. The only one I did any building to though was the XJ. Still "cheeped" out though. But it was fun. Rough Country lift and a lot of drunk welding in various places. Ill try to put up a few pictures at the end. Everybody likes pics right?
I also did a mild build on a Subaru Legacy that was fun to drive around. I loved the attention it got, and it was surprisingly more impressive off road than I though it would be. But, true to form, as with most of my toys, I sold it just to get something different.
My latest project is a 1987 Range Rover Classic. Its my second one. The first one was much nicer than this and I regretted selling it a couple years ago when I did but whatever right? This one I plan to keep for a while. I want to do a respectable build on it and hopefully it will be awesome. As for now, I only consider it mildly cool.
Thanks for having me everybody and I look forward to being an active member with meet 'n' greets and stuff.
